Lolcatz support net neutrality

The Office of the Privacy Commissioner is currently looking into a complaint about deep packet inspection – no decision has been made, and this post is not meant to endorse one side or another. It’s simply funny.

I’m not surprised that the Office of the Privacy Commissioner is aware of the fight for net neutrality, and I’m also not surprised that the Office is up on the latest internet trends; but I’m thoroughly amused and impressed the Office is up to lolcatz. srsly.

I had no idea that government offices were writing blogs. Kudos for posting this, it’s nice to know that there are human beings in the govm’t sometimes

Great to see some coverage on net neutrality. If you’ve not yet done so, subscribe to the CBC’s podcast called “Search Engine”. Very good discussion on this and other techno-privacy related issues.
And speaking of net neutrality, who do we talk to about investigating whether or not the big telcos are seriously moving toward Internet packages along the lines of current TV/Satellite packages? See the Digg here for some discussion on this
